Over 23,000 police officers have been deployed nationwide to maintain order after violence has flared during lorry protests over the price of fuel.
Drivers are belived to have fought with other drivers over their support for protests whilst vehicles have been damaged and roads blocked by groups of drivers.
Transport Minister Raquel Sánchez criticised the action, whilst transport unions have distanced themselves from the protesters.
