The head offices of water company Aguamed have finally been condemned to demolition, under a special licence granted by Torrevieja Council. The building, constructed in 1977, has been bulldozed due to its dangerous state.
However, the noisy and messy work has been criticised by hoteliers given the time of year and therefore the high number of tourist in the town for the summer season.
