The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition has issued an alert for forged olive oils in the Murcian region.
A batch of extra virgin and virgin olive oils have been tested, and found to not match the oils that are documented.
Wafa virgin olive oil, Maakoul olive oil and Riad Al Andalus virgin olive oil are understood to be the affected brands, with people being advised to return any of those products back to their point of sale.
