Vertical gardens have been installed in the check-in area at Alicante-Elche airport. The living walls aim to make the terminal look more pleasant and improve the welfare of passengers and users, said the national airports management company AENA. There are two natural green walls, covering a total of 125 square metres, both in one of the airports busiest areas.
