Costa Blanca residents need to get set to shiver as an icy arctic blast is forecast to hit the region from tomorrow – Thursday 31st March – and last at least the weekend. The winter weather will see cold showers and plunging temperatures which come close on the heels of the wettest March in 72 years.
Night-time lows will drop from double figures to just around 4 degrees on Friday and Saturday and although day-time temperatures could stretch to 17 degrees, the wind-chill factor will make it feel much colder.
