A middle-aged man has been arrested after trying to rob a branch of Sabadell Bank at gunpoint in Albatera. The man had waited the queue, like any other customer. However, when it was his turn, he pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded that she fill a bag he was carrying with money. When he was told she had no cash at her work station, the man fled by bicycle. He barricaded himself in a near-by Mercadona and was eventually arrested.
