An attempted robbery at Orihuela’s City Theatre, Teatro Circo, was foiled by the building’s alarm system. Around midnight, person sneaked through a side door used as an emergency exit, but the security system alerted the National Police who were quick to respond.
No intruder was found and nothing of value was taken, it is believed the alarm scared the thief and he fled the scene.
