Beach House Burns Down in Torrevieja

A fire has burned down an apartment on Calle Timonel in Torrevieja next to Playa del Cura. The fire completely gutted the room it started in, and the rest of the building was filled with smoke. Firefighters were able to save two dogs and their owners – a 59-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman – who although uninjured had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
