A street beggar in Alicante has scooped 1.2 million euros in the Spanish Bonoloto. The woman is well known in her local neighbourhood and sat outside the bank and supermarket asking for money. The unmanned winner told the tobacconist who sold her the ticket that they had ‘solved her life problems’. The shop owner said they’d never seen such a big win and were happy to have transformed the woman’s life.
