In a move aimed to combat overcrowding, Benidorm Beaches are to be kitted out with CCTV. The tourist town plans to install cameras in areas that are ever-popular with beach goers, such as Poniente and Mal Pas ready for summer holiday season.
The system will provide real-time information on capacity and the project has a budget of 145,000 euros.
