The young flamingos that have been born this year in the Torrevieja lagoon have begun to leave the area in search of food or to migrate to other natural areas such as El Hondo and the Santa Pola salt flats. Residents are being asked to be very careful in the coming weeks, especially on the surrounding roads, since the flamingos are all novices and might have trouble taking off and staying in the air.
