Brit Arrested in Drug Gang Raid

Guardia Civil officers have dismantled a drug trafficking gang operating on a European level. British, French and Russian criminals were arrested with the leaders also running an illegal cannabis club in Orihuela Costa. Customs intercepted two packages with more than 2,200 kilograms of hashish destined for France and nine house raids were carried out in Orihuela Costa, Torrevieja, San Miguel de Salinas, Crevillente and several locations in Murcia. Eight men were arrested, aged between 23 and 50 years old.
