Bumper Winter Expected, Thanks UK Visitors

Local airports have announced their winter flight schedule and Alicante-Elche Airport is expected to continue to boom, thanks to British visitors. The winter season, which runs until March, is estimated to see a growth of 10 percent compared to the 2019-2020 end of year season. Around 1.8 million passengers are forecast to fly in from the UK and October is already proving to be a strong month with passenger numbers similar to the summer.
