The Ministry of Public Works and Mobility has put out to tender the public passenger service between Pilar-Alicante, which is part of the new regional network of inter-urban public transport. The concession will have a minimum of 19 buses that will carry out more than 26,600 journeys per year, which translates into an average of 73 per day.
This will serve a population of 890,000 inhabitants covering: Alicante, Santa Pola, Elche, Crevillent, Guardamar, Torrevieja, Pilar, Orihuela Costa, Rojales, San Fulgencio, Catral, Dolores, Daya Nueva, Daya Vieja, Benijófar and San Miguel de Salinas.
