With its summer population expected to increase three-fold during the height of the holiday season, Benidorm has ramped up its street cleaning and rubbish collection services. An additional 51 workers have been recruited and the cleaning fleet has also been boosted with an additional two rubbish collection lorries and extra shifts have been added to clean and pressure wash pavements. Leisure areas, parks and gardens, main thoroughfares, as well as beaches and tourist hotspot will be given special attention.
