Tomorrow, Saturday 11th June, will see a ‘clean-up Orihuela’ event take place, starting at 9:30am at the Segura River next to the Ociopía shopping centre.
Locals are being encouraged to go along and help collect rubbish and will be given gloves and bags for the collection of any waste they find. The initiative aims to show that going out into the natural environment for just one day, all together to collect waste, has a positive impact on the local environment.
