National Police have dismantled a cocaine distribution gang in Torrevieja. Members used sophisticated drug concealment systems in cars in order to go undetected at police checkpoints.
The police arrests uncovered 11 kilograms of cocaine hidden in the floor of one car and three more in the heater of another. During the arrests one of the criminals rammed a police car injuring three officers.
Huge amounts of cash and fire arms were also seized in subsequent house raids.
