The Ombudsman for the Valencian Community has written to Orihuela City Council telling it to repair the damage to a Cabo Roig beachside area. The pavement above La Caleta beach was left with a sink hole as a result of the DANA in September 2019.
The council is obliged to respond to the letter within one month to explain the situation. The call for action is the result of a complaint made by the Cabo Roig and Lomas Neighbourhood Association over concerns of continued deterioration.
