The Torrevieja health department has registered five deaths from Covid in the last week. Hospital occupancy continues to rise with the Torrevieja Hospital admitting 60 patients with the virus.
Cases continue to increase, between 3rd and 16th January there were 5,131 cases of coronavirus registered with a cumulative incidence of 2,789 per hundred thousand inhabitants. This represents an increase of 840 points in just one week.
