Officers of the National Police have dismantled a criminal gang made up of three Georgian nationals dedicated to house robberies. The members had settled in Torrevieja, from where they travelled to locations across the province to commit their crimes.
The gang was caught after an officer saw them acting suspiciously and checked their vehicle. Inside there was a variety of tools. The details were passed to the Special Violent Crime Group who put the suspects under surveillance. A raid of their property uncovered a large amount of jewellery, tools for breaking and entering and 3,500 euros in cash.
The men have been charged with a total of six house robberies with force in the towns of Alicante, San Vicente del Raspeig, Santa Pola, Almoradí and Orihuela.
