The government has announced plans to observe a day of remembrance for the victims of the coronavirus pandemic this year on the 15th July.
Government spokesperson Isabel Rodríguez said the event would offer a moment of reflection for those who have died from the disease, as well as to honor the effort made by citizens during the pandemic.
This will mark the third year that an event marking the impact of the pandemic will be observed, with the main focus of the day being at the Royal Palace in Madrid.
