The double jab programme for flu and covid has started in the Valencia Region with those aged between 70 and 80 or over being called for appointments from this week. However, many regions began their winter vaccination programmes at the start of October, after experts advised to vaccinate as many people as early as possible before case numbers start to rise as the weather cools.
