Dozens of people have been arrested following on from a second night of protests in various cities across Spain after rapper Pablo Hasél was jailed.
One woman is believed to have lost an eye after being injured in the protests in Barcelona.
She is to undergo surgery today according to the regional department of health.
An investigation has been launched to determine what caused the injury.
Last night saw riots break out in Barcelona, Lleida and Girona as well as Madrid, Granada and Vigo.
Pablo Hasél was taken to prison on Tuesday, after barricading himself in a university to avoid arrest.
He faces a nine months sentence for glorifying terrorism and slandering the crown and state institutions over tweets and song lyrics.
