Policia Nacional have arrested 86 people and recovered nearly two hundred vehicles as part of an international criminal organisation which stole cars.
The operation was part of a global investigation which resulted in the arrest of nearly 230 people and the recovery of over a thousand cars.
Raids were carried out in Algeciras, Alicante, La Junquera, Madrid and Malaga, with vehicles valued at over €35 million recovered in Spain alone.
Alongside the vehicles, nearly half a million stolen cigarettes were discovered, along with records of vehicle thefts in 77 different countries.
