Drowning Dog Saved

Local police and firefighters have saved a Yorkshire terrier which had ended up in the sea at a rocky area of coastline in Torrevieja. A walker heard barking coming from the bottom of the cliffs at Cala de La Higuera at around 8.30pm and called the emergency services. Firefighters abseiled down the cliffs to rescue the little fella who luckily was no worse for his adventure. Police are now trying to find its owner so they can be reunited.
