Drug Dealer on Trial

This week will see the start of the trial of a man accused of transporting 100g of heroin in his car. As the vehicle approached a police checkpoint, the driver tried to speed past, putting pedestrians at risk. He is also accused of injuring two officers when arrested, following a high-speed car chase through Orihuela. The prosecutor is requesting a total of 19 years in prison for the crimes.
