The Guardia Civil Marine Patrol Service has seized 27 bales of hashish, weighing 30 kilos each, from a luxury yacht travelling from Murcia to Torrevieja. The officers signalled to board the boat as part of a routine check but the yacht fled at full speed.
It was intercepted half an hour later in the waters off Cabo Roig where four people and the illegal cargo were seized.
