Local Police in Elche have discovered a weapons stash in a home in the Las Bayas area of the city. Officers assigned to the preventive control of robberies in the district spotted a vehicle of interest and whilst checking the identities of the house occupants asked if they could enter the premises.
Inside they found two Civil War weapons and a double-barrelled shotgun. These were not in a gun cabinet and were unprotected. They were also undeclared under the correct legal procedures and so were seized and taken away.
