Guardia Civil have arrested 11 people in connection with a drug smuggling operation that transported nearly half a tonne of hashish into Europe every month.
Officers carried out 14 raids in Malaga and Córdoba, where 200 kilos of marijuana and 100 kilos of hashsish were confiscated.
It’s believed the gang used water canisters to transport the drugs from Africa to Europe via Spain.
As well as drugs, high performance vehicles, firearms, fake police materials and details of other criminal gangs activities were uncovered by investigators.
