Employee on Trial for Stealing 146,000e

An administrative assistant for a vegetable canning company in San Fulgencio is on trial this week accused of stealing 146,000 euros. It is claimed that between 2009 and 2014 the man made numerous transfers to his own bank account, abusing his position of trust. Prosecutors are requesting a prison sentence of three years and nine months for the crime of misappropriation.
