The project to eliminate invasive species in the micro-reserve at Punta de La Glea, in Aguamarina, has discovered the presence of an endangered plant species.
The ‘rediscovery’ of this plant, catalogued as endangered (occasionally cited in Cabo Roig in 1996 but not found again later), has been carried out by an expert botanist.
One-hundred-and-thirteen individual examples of the species have been counted so far, which represents at least 40 percent of the Valencian population.
