Fake luxury-branded jewellery with a retail value close to €1 million has been discovered in shipping containers at the port of Alicante. The counterfeit goods were manufactured in China and were awaiting customs clearance. More than 2,900 pieces were discovered during routine container inspections by the Guardia Civil.
