One person has been injured after a fire broke out on a high rise building in Benidorm.
Emergency services said the man suffered burns after the blaze destroyed his ninth-floor home in the La Cala neighborhood.
Reports of the fire were first made at around 5.40, with firefighters evacuating the entire building on Calle Asturias over concerns that the fire would spread.
Holidaymakers at the Gran Hotel Bali posted videos on social media of the fire, which engulfed the building in smoke.
Whilst no other injuries were reported, it’s understood a pet dog died in the blaze.
