First Camino Torrevieja-Orihuela

The weekend saw the first Camino Santiago del Sureste take place, a 42-kilometre pilot test hike configured in two stages. This is a joint project for Torrevieja, Orihuela, Los Montesinos, Benejúzar and Jacarilla. The route started from the church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Torrevieja ending in Benejúzar, passing through Los Montesinos. The second stage – scheduled for 26th November will run for at 17km.
