German Fugitive Arrested in Alicante

A German drug smuggler has been arrested by National Police in Alicante on a European Arrest Warrant. The 31-year-old man is accused of trafficking 1.5kg of cocaine but disappeared from his home country before he could be brought to justice. According to reports the suspect spent nearly 37,000 euros on drugs, selling them on the streets of Hamburg. He will now be extradited and faces up to 15 years in prison.
