The Minsitry of Health has published proposals that are intended to decrease the number of people smoking in Spain.
In a paper released yesterday, plans include the prohibition of smoking in private vehicles, generic cigarette packaging and also restrictions on electronic cigarettes.
Their five year plan – which was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic – outlines five goals and 21 objectives which are due to be met by 2025.
Currently proposals are with regional health chiefs and the scientific community for peer review ahead of formal submission to law makers.
