A year-long investigation has led to a graffiti vandal finally being caught by police. The man had sprayed over more than 50 signs in the Elche and Santa Pola areas causing an estimated 7,000 euros in damage.
Similar graffiti has been spotted across the region and officers are now investigating to see if the man is responsible. The vandal could be handed a prison sentence of up to three years as well as a considerable cash fine.
