A spate of robberies in Callosa de Segura has led to the Town Council installing eight 24-hour CCTV cameras at all access points to the Cueva Ahumada recreational area. The space is part of the larger municipal natural park and is a popular place for hikers and nature lovers. However, there has been several thefts, robberies and instances of car crimes in the area in recent weeks.
