‘Infernal.’ heatwave is in full force already. Temperatures can be expected to reach up to 47 degrees in some areas of Spain on Saturday 14th August. Most areas of the country will at least see a rise of around 40 degrees.
It has- been strongly advised to avoid going out during the peak hours of the day (Between 12pm and 8pm)
Continue to drink plenty of water throughout the day
Avoid heavy meals which could in turn cause dehydration
Try not to drink too much caffeine or alcoholic beverages
Only play sports at night time as it can be dangerous this weekend during the day
Close your windows during the day to avoid the house becoming overheated
shower with lukewarm water as a cold shower could cause an impact on your body and affect circulation.
Avoid using your air-con at extremely low temperatures to avoid contrast temperatures to the body
Do NOT leave pets or humans in the car
Finally, remember to always consult with a doctor if you have any persisting symptoms of dehydration as this can become very dangerous!
