A cleaner has been arrested in Mutxamel, Alicante Province, after stealing 30,000 euros of jewellery from her employers safe. The 25 year-old woman was detained by the Guardia Civil after her boss reported the theft, which police found had no signs of forced entry.
The employer is the owner of a jewellery store in Alicante City, and would regularly keep stock at home.
