The former King – Juan Carlos – is to face another probe into his personal finances, the Supreme Court has announced.
Investigators are to look into the use of credit cards used by the Emeritus King after his abdication in 2014.
Juan Carlos, who reigned from 1975 until his abdication in 2014, was already the target of a separate investigation by Supreme Court prosecutors over his involvement in the construction of a high speed railway line in Saudi Arabia.
