Today (Thursday 28th July) will see the start of the National Spanish Beach Handball Club Championships at La Zenia beach. More than 4,000 players will compete as part of 277 teams, with the final taking place on Sunday. It is hoped the tournament will boost the local economy with over 20,000 overnight stays.
