The Vega Baja Consortium is offering a pruning shredder as a prize to the Vega Baja town that collects the most rural waste per inhabitant. The mechanical prize will reduce the volume of organic waste to encouraging composting.
All 27 municipalities are being invited to join the initiative and each participant will receive a guide and cleaning kit to help get them started.
