Local Unemployment Increase

October has seen an increase in unemployment of 615 more people across the Vega Baja region. This is in direct comparison to the previous month and places the total number of unemployed at 26,445. Torrevieja led the way with 299 more unemployed people, placing its unemployment rate at 7,772 and at the other end of the scale the municipality of Almoradí registered 27 fewer unemployed.
