Loggerhead Turtle Rescued in Torrevieja

The Torrevieja lifeguard service, Local Police and the municipal biologist joined force to rescue a loggerhead sea turtle that had been released a day earlier in La Manga. The animal reached Los Náufragos beach after passing through the port of Cabo Roig and coast off Cala Mosca.  The turtle was taken out to sea on one of the lifeguard service’s rescue jet skis and released into the open sea.
