Scientists from the University of Seville and the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage have said that they may have found the location of one of the greatest lost temples to a Roman god.
Researchers used satellite imagery and radar to search for the location of the lost Hercules of Cadiz temple, which was thought lost for hundreds of years.
According to their research, the temple is located in the waters off of the coast of Sancti Petri close to Cadiz.
The temple dates back to the 9th Century BC, and was visited by Julius Caesar.
