National Police in Guardamar have arrested the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force at a school in the Babel neighbourhood of Alicante. During the crime the three-man gang stole computers, audiovisual equipment, phones and belongings that students kept in their lockers.
The man had been hiding in the town of Sax where he had squatted in a home in order to grow an indoor marijuana crop – this proved to be his undoing and the crop was dismantled by the police.
It was also discovered that the arrested man already had an outstanding arrest warrant. All three robbers have now been arrested and the fugitive returned to jail.
