A 76-year-old man drowned at Playa del Cura, Torrevieja yesterday (Wednesday 18th May). Emergency Services received report that an unconscious man had been pulled from the sea and that witnesses at the scene had started cardiac resuscitation. The medical team took over on arrival, but there was no response and they confirmed the man had died.
