Man Drowns on Trip to Tabarca

A 61-year-old man from Villajoyosa has drowned whilst on a trip to the Isle of Tabarca. The alarm was raised around 4.30pm as the man was swimming in an area popular with boats. Unfortunately, there was nothing the emergency services could do to save the man and a post-mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
