The Department of Street Cleaning for Orihuela has taken the unusual step of publishing a video on its social networks in which a driver can be seen pulling a huge bundle of branches and cuttings down the road and dumping them in Calle Osa Mayor in Orihuela Costa.
The Department has shared the video alongside the message “remember that you cannot leave a forest on the street! There is a limit: bagged and up to 1,000 litres per home.”
It adds ‘if you want to deposit prunings or belongings on public roads on the coast, you have arrange the removal beforehand and Street Cleaning will tell you what day they will collect it’.
